Go! Sign Resource Page

There are several events that will be happening in the New Year, and we thought it was important for you to have advance notice of these so you don't miss out:

The popular Go! Sign training weekend is being held on the weekend of the 23rd to 25th May 2008 at the Wycliffe Centre in rural Buckinghamshire. There is an excellent schedule planned for the weekend, and you can guarantee God's blessing - in abundance!

There are only 40 places available and to avoid any disappointment, it's advisable to get your booking in well before the 28th March deadline.

There is now a course in theology, taught in BSL and delivered by "Signs of God" that trains Deaf people for Christian ministry, and leads to a recognised qualification.

The Church Colleges’ Certificate in Ministry is offered by the University of Chester. It is believed to be the first course providing training in ministry for Deaf people in their own language.

It is equivalent to half of the first year of a theology degree course, and can be used as a foundation for further training.

Five students successfully completed the first course in 2007. The next course will start in September 2008. Further details are given in the leaflet.
